Chan & Naylor welcomes new partner Chan & Naylor Accountants Hawthorn

Chan & Naylor, the Australian leader in property and business accountancy, is excited to announce the addition of Chan & Naylor Accountants Hawthorn to the group. Chan & Naylor Accountants Hawthorn will be managed by new partners Peter May and Philip Efthimiou and their office will be located in Suite 5, 260 Auburn Road, Hawthorn. 

Peter May has over 30 years of public practice experience in providing accounting and taxation services to small businesses including a substantial involvement in the medical profession.  He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Taxation Institute and other professional bodies.  As an authorised representative he is able to complete statements of advice on self managed superannuation funds.  When not doing work you will find him on his bike somewhere around Melbourne. 

Philip Efthimiou, on the other hand, has over 10 years of experience in accounting and 10 years of experience in public practice. He is a Certified Practicing Accountant and a member of the Taxation Institute of Australia. Philip works with small and medium sized business owners to help them grow their revenues, profits and business value. He enjoys soccer, basketball and swimming on weekends as well. 

Chan & Naylor Hawthorn’s objective is to solve their clients’ tax and financial problems and help them capitalise on opportunities. They want to ensure that their clients avoid pitfalls through the life cycle of their business. Chan & Naylor Accountants Hawthorn specialise in property investing and trades industries and consult on a wide range of issues including cash flows, costings, business valuations, asset protection and succession planning. 

“Our team goal is to be very knowledgeable about our clients’ businesses,” Philip says. “We want to understand their business and their specific industry issues. This helps us develop strategies and select the right tools to help them with financial reporting, tax planning, wealth creation and other business issues.” 

Peter and Philip will both attend the Chan & Naylor Joint Venture Partner Conference on 24-25th of May 2018 to be hosted by Sandro Bagnati of Chan & Naylor Melbourne. The Joint Venture Partner Conference will be held in Bank of Melbourne, Level 1, 525 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria. The Joint Venture Partner Conference is a bi-annual event where all Chan & Naylor Partners from different states congregate for two days with Partners providing updates to the group. Peter and Philip of Chan & Naylor Accountant Hawthorn will get the chance to know the group better this year and present ways to strengthen synergy with the Partners.
