Where’s My SMSF Super?

The Australian Tax Office (ATO)  is presently reaching out via email and SMS messages, to all SMSF members asking them to use their ATO Online Portal and to search for any held super.   The ATO are also providing information on how to claim any amounts that they may be holding.

According to the ATO there is nearly $19.1 million ‘lost’ in SMSF Super.  So, if you feel that your SMSF super is less than it should be, here is an opportunity to see if some of this is yours.

The below article from the ATO website SMSF members and ATO-held super describes the situation.

Lost SMSF Super

As not all contact details are held by the ATO, they encourage all SMSF members to use the ATO online portal to search for any held super that they may be holding on your behalf.
