The Australian Accounting Awards 2019 recognised the exceptional contributions of professionals and firms to the accounting and bookkeeping industry across Australia with winners announced in Sydney on Friday, 24 May. Accountants and bookkeepers were honored during the event for their achievements, technical expertise and hard work that grow and enrich not only the profession but businesses and the Australian economy as well. Ershad Ullah has been named a finalist for the New Partner of the Year and Property Specialist Accountant of the Year Awards. He is the Managing Partner of Chan & Naylor Sydney CBD Central – Property & Business Tax Accountants in Sydney. He has over 10 years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning and business strategy and is well known for delivering exceptional professionalism and value.

Ed Chan, founder of Chan & Naylor, has also been shortlisted for the Thought Leader of the Year Award this year. He has co-authored four best selling books and is a regular contributor to publications around Australia. He speaks at the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Institute of Public Accountants and Australian Society of CPA’s and the annual National Congress of the ATO. He helps accounting firms improve their efficiencies and run better businesses through Wize Mentoring.
