We are thrilled to announce that our co-founder and non-executive chairman, Ed Chan, and our managing partner, Cindy Su, have been selected as finalists for the highly anticipated 2024 Australian Accounting Awards. Ed is nominated in the Thought Leader of the Year category, while Cindy is nominated for the Partner of the Year category. This prestigious recognition underscores their outstanding contributions and expertise in the accounting profession. 

Ed’s visionary leadership has been instrumental in shaping Chan & Naylor into a renowned National Financial Services Organisation. A highly sought-after keynote speaker, Ed has shared his extensive knowledge at numerous business and property seminars across the country. His expertise in tax and property has earned him a reputation as one of Australia’s foremost authorities in these fields. As evidence of his commitment to education, Ed has co-authored four best-selling books covering “How to Legally Reduce Your Tax” to “Creating Wealth for Life through Property Investing”, “Buying Property with your Self Managed Superfund” and how to run a successful small business called “From Small to Great”. 

Notably, Ed was honored with the Thought Leader of the Year Award in 2023, a testament to his innovative insights and profound impact on the industry. We are proud that Ed continues to be recognised as a finalist this year, showcasing his ongoing dedication to excellence. 

On the other hand, Cindy is a certified Chartered Accountant, FCPA, registered SMSF Auditor, and registered Tax Agent. Her expertise spans practice management, strategic advisory in business and property tax, as well as tax planning and auditing for a diverse range of entities.  

Moreover, Cindy plays a pivotal role in mentoring and training accountants with varying levels of experience, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services. With over 17 years of experience at Chan & Naylor, Cindy has established herself as a trusted advisor and leader in the field. 

Ed and Cindy’s selection as finalists in the Australian Accounting Awards is a well-deserved recognition of their exceptional contributions to the accounting profession. The awarding ceremony is scheduled on June 20th at the Hyatt Regency Sydney.
