CO-FOUNDER, NON EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Ed Chan is a Founder and Non Executive Chairman of Chan & Naylor and a leading authority in property and business tax.
A graduate from the University of Technology (Sydney) with a Degree in Business (Accounting Major) and worked in the Chartered Accounting environment for many years before starting Chan & Naylor from a small home office and growing it into a National Financial Services Organisation with offices in most major Capital cities around Australia that services more than 10,000 clients.
A regular key note speaker in many property seminars around Australia, Ed is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost authorities on tax and property.
CO-FOUNDER, NON EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
David Naylor has over 35 years Experience in the Professional Services Industry. He commenced his working life in the banking industry before starting his own accounting business from an office within his parents’ home. He began with a small portfolio of clients consisting of friends and family and grew it into Australia’s fastest- growing property, business, tax-accounting and wealth advisory group.
David is the Co-founder of Chan & Naylor National Accounting Group. He is a Non Executive Director of Chan and Naylor Australia and provides strategic advice and overall direction to the Group and Senior Management . David is a member of the Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.

Clive Nelson is the Managing Partner of Chan & Naylor Parramatta and leads a team of proactive property and business tax accountants at Oatlands, in the Parramatta region. Clive’s areas of expertise also include Asset Protection and Business & Financial Structuring.
Prior to his career in public practice and current role as Managing Partner for Chan & Naylor Parramatta, Clive spent a number of years in corporate banking, involved particularly, with tax based structured financing.

Lilian Fisher is the Managing Partner of Chan & Naylor Perth and leads a team of proactive business and property tax accountants in Perth.
Lilian has been in public practice for close to 20 years providing taxation, accounting, asset protection, wealth creation and business tax and advisory services. Prior to taking a leap as a business owner providing tax and accountancy services, Lilian worked in various senior roles in varied industries both locally and in South Africa, where she was born.

Peter Ristevki is a CPA and holds a Master’s Degree in Commerce from the University Of Western Sydney and is the Director of Business Development for the practice. He has more than 20 years experience in the accounting, finance and property sectors.
He leads a team of dedicated property and business specialist accountants in Bankstown.

Ershad has been in the Chan & Naylor Family for more than a decade and is well known among his clients for delivering exceptional professionalism in key areas such as property investment and business consultation.
He is very passionate in helping his clients increase their personal wealth and grow their business by advising on various areas like tax minimisation, investment property, start-up business structures, restructure of business for future growth and exit strategies with estate planning.

Peter is an accountant who is about more than just the numbers. He has been a small business owner for more than 20 years, a keen property investor, a public speaker, a radio host, blogger and a small business mentor to many. He has been happily married for over 22 years with 3 teenage children and loves travelling.
Peter, CPA qualified, with over 25 years public practice experience is based in Melbourne, Australia. It is humble beginnings from the days growing up on a dairy farm in the country to Italian migrants whom sent him off to boarding school at age 11 to get an education and get him off the farm.
Peter became a business owner at age 26.

Holding a Master of Accounting degree and being a qualified Chartered Accountant & a registered SMSF Auditor, Cindy has been working in the Pymble practice for a decade specialising in property and business related tax advisories and planning.
In 2007, Cindy became a senior client manager for Chan & Naylor focusing on identifying clients’ goals and key areas of services required, making suggestions, engaging services and establishing relationship. She has also designed, implemented and guided clients’ bookkeeping system based on various accounting software.
DIRECTOR, CHAN & NAYLOR FINANCE
Doug Daniell has a pedigree in real estate and finance of more than 20 years.
Born and raised in Canberra, Doug began a career in real estate, but quickly worked out that the availability of finance was what determined whether or not a property was bought or sold.
Doug’s finance career has developed many strands. Having run a city centre ANZ branch, Doug decided to build his own mortgage businesses. Across the country he now has close to 80 brokers in his team, many of them were trained by Walker & Miller – Doug’s training company which specialises in mortgage brokering training and which has trained over 6,000 people.

Graeme Salt is a mentor and manager of a team of nearly 80 mortgage brokers including Chan & Naylor Finance brokers nation-wide.
After working in investment banking, in 2006 Graeme started running his own businesses and has never looked back.
Graeme is frequently to be found on a plane, travelling around the country supporting and developing his team. He really enjoys watching brokers develop their professional skills in the finance sector – particularly when they find innovative solutions for clients.
Mr. Salt has a BA (Hons) from the University of London, a MA from the University of Sheffield (part of which was run with the University of Lyon in France) and a Postgraduate Diploma in French from the University of Brighton. Since moving to Australia he has also been awarded a Diploma in Finance.

Anil heads up our Business Coaching division. He is a trained accountant with a wealth of business and management experience across a wide range of industries.
After spending 15 years in accounting and corporate management roles in Australia and the UK, Anil started his own coaching and consulting business in 2005 and has been helping businesses to grow and develop ever since. His focus is to create businesses that have a sound strategy for growth, well-developed management systems, and an enthusiastic team that is aligned with the long-term goals of the business and the owners.
Anil is committed to helping his clients to achieve their personal goals – whether that be greater financial reward or more time to spend with family, friends or on hobbies – plus helping them to create wealth for themselves and their families.

Adam is a qualified Chartered Accountant. Adam Thorpe has been in the practice for over 12 years. Adam aims to create pathways for business owners to recover and learn from failure and when required looks for ways to assist people affected by reckless and intentional misconduct, including fraudulent action. Since 2006, Adam has previously worked with BDO Kendalls, Vincents Chartered Accountants, Artemis Insolvency and Rodgers Reidy. Now, as a Director of Insolvency and Reconstruction for Chan & Naylor.
Adam is actively involved in a significant array of voluntary administrations, litigations, liquidations, turn-around arrangements, bankruptcies and formal arrangements, covering a diverse range of businesses and industries by drawing upon a network of advisors, financiers and other service providers, who assist with delivering a complete technical and commercially whole solution. Adam has a wealth of experience and a proactive approach spanning over a decade to effectively manage risk and deliver quality results in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

Liam is a Chartered Accountant and Registered Liquidator that has been practicing in the Insolvency Industry for over 13 years, including periods in Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. Liam currently operates Australia wide within or Restructuring, Recovery and Insolvency practice.
Liam is passionate about providing solutions to companies experiencing financial difficulties to ensure that the best outcome is achieved for all stakeholders including creditors and employees whilst providing the best opportunity for the business to continue operating.
Prior to joining Chan & Naylor, Liam previously worked for at a National insolvency practice based in Sydney before relocating to Perth for 3.5 years to establish its Western Australia office.
