Ed Chan
CO-FOUNDER, NON EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
Ed Chan is a Founder and Non Executive Chairman of Chan & Naylor and a leading authority in property and business tax.
A graduate from the University of Technology (Sydney) with a Degree in Business (Accounting Major) and worked in the Chartered Accounting environment for many years before starting Chan & Naylor from a small home office and growing it into a National Financial Services Organisation services more than 10,000 clients.
A regular key note speaker in many property seminars around Australia, Ed is recognised as one of Australia’s foremost authorities on tax and property.
In 2023, Ed has been awarded “Thought Leader of the Year” in the highly prestigious Australia Accounting Awards.
David Naylor
CO-FOUNDER, NON EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN
David Naylor has over 35 years Experience in the Professional Services Industry. He commenced his working life in the banking industry before starting his own accounting business from an office within his parents’ home. He began with a small portfolio of clients consisting of friends and family and grew it into Australia’s fastest- growing property, business, tax-accounting and wealth advisory group.
David occupies a significant leadership role, serving as a Non-Executive Director for Chan & Naylor and provides strategic advice and overall direction to the Group and Senior Management . David is a member of the Institute of Company Directors and the Governance Institute of Australia.
Cindy Su
MANAGING PARTNER, CHAN & NAYLOR
Cindy is a certified Chartered Accountant, FCPA, registered SMSF Auditor, and registered Tax Agent. Her expertise spans practice management, strategic advisory in business and property tax, as well as tax planning and auditing for a diverse range of entities. Cindy is also highly skilled in designing, implementing, and providing guidance on bookkeeping systems using various accounting software platforms. She is recognised for her contributions in structure design, business consultation, and development of effective exit strategies.
Moreover, Cindy plays a pivotal role in mentoring and training accountants with varying levels of experience, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality services. Notably, she was a finalist for Partner of the Year at the 2018 and 2024 Australian Accounting Awards.
